What was the most exciting thing about summer vacation for you during the 80s?

For me it was visiting Greece every summer. It was something I looked forward to all year. Seeing family, spending time in my dad's village, exploring forests, the lakes/ponds and experiencing a completely different lifestyle. Those are some of my ultimate favorite memories.

Im sure that played a role but the beaches were better. Less people and riff raff too. It was the 80s.
