Next Sunday at 4 PM we’re launching a brand new monthly feature on We Love the Eighties Radio.

The We Love the Eighties Radio Top 20 Countdown will take listeners back to a different year from the 80s each month as we count down the biggest songs based on the official Billboard year end charts.

For our very first countdown, we’re heading back to 1985.

From Madonna and Wham! to Foreigner, Tears for Fears, Simple Minds, George Michael and more, we’ll be counting down the twenty biggest songs that helped define one of the most unforgettable years of the entire decade.

It’s two full hours of classic 80s hits, countdown moments, memories, and the music that dominated radio, MTV, malls, roller rinks, car stereos, and summer nights during 1985.

You can also join us in the Listener Lounge during the show to talk about the countdown, share memories, discuss your favorite songs from 1985, or just hang out with fellow 80s fans while the music plays.

The countdown begins Sunday, May 31 at 4 PM exclusively on We Love the Eighties Radio.
